Blue Onion - Cibulák Original Bohemia

The Blue Onion porcelain design was originally brought from east Asia and became very popular in Europe in the second half of 19th century. The "Blue Onion" name is most probably derived from the pomegranate ornament illustration which resembles an onion. Blue Onion decoration conveys the wish of a long, relentless, abundant and happy life.

The elegantly prolonged highest quality 18/10 material is attached to thick porcelain handles decorated with cobalt-blue underglaze pattern, which are made by Český porcelán, a.s. in Dubí near Teplice with manufacturing history since 1885.
